The Magical Necklace Part I By Shaindel Turniansky from Baltimore MD
For as long as she could remember Shayna had always wore her grandmother’s special necklace. She would never forget when she first gave it to her. Or at least when her aunt gave it to her on behalf of her grandmother. Her grandmother was not with her anymore.
Shayna liked her Aunt Rivkah very much. She called her Safta because she was loving like a grandmother. It was just her, her aunt and mother, and her brothers, Yoni and Yehuda. But Shayna felt like there was another person living with them. Somehow through the necklace. The one she never took off. Ever. Because even thought she knew it wasn’t true she liked to think that her necklace was magic.
