We invited Jewish girls to connect to the Torah through art, and illustrate their favorite pasuk (verse). We received lots of beautiful, meaningful, colorful, and creative entries. Here are the winners!

FIRST PLACE:

Chaya Mushka Gershon, age 13, from IL

"And the wolf will lie with the lamb"

 SECOND PLACE:

Emily Gordis, age 11, from CA

Psalm 120

 THIRD PLACE:

Shalva Adler, age 10, from NJ

"Let there be peace within Your walls and prosperity within Your palaces."

 HONORABLE MENTIONS:

Rebekah Post, age 12 from WA "Noach walked with Hashem"

Dalia Wolfson, age 14 from NY "A tree of life to those who hold fast to it, and all who cling to it find happiness."

Leah Post, age 11 from WA "And G-d said, let there be animals..."

Esther O'Campo, age 15 from OR "For the Jews there was light, gladness, joy, and honor."

Elisheva Weintraub, age 9 from NY "She took the veil and covered herself."

Although they weren’t winners, we just had to share the creativity of Nicole and Danielle Bauke, of MA! They dressed up as Noach and his wife and acted out the whole story of Noach in pictures, complete with wood, animals, and even water!
