Even though Chanukah is over, I thought this would be a fun tip to add.
Have you ever wanted to give fabric as a gift but didn’t know how to wrap it? Did you ever have extra fabric at Chanukah or a birthday and didn’t know what to do with it? The answer is simple: fabric can be used as a really nice gift to another aspiring seamstress, or even reusable wrapping paper!
If you are using fabric as a gift, take a big box, write a note, and put it inside that way your friends or family are not opening an empty box, and they know how much you mean to them.
Wrap the box like you would wrap any other gift. Add a ribbon or lace for a fun extra touch. If you are just using leftover scrap fabric, you can wrap it the same way, but be sure to put your gift inside the box first.
It is a fun, unique way to give a gift, and by using scraps, you are using “wrapping paper” that can be used again and again!
