Dear Readers,

Summer is coming to an end. It’s almost time to go back to school! But don’t forget your garden…

Your cucumbers, tomatoes, zucchinis, squash, and all of that should be winding down. Your lettuce has either bolted or been eaten. That means it’s time to plant your next round of crops. Things like root vegetables, peas, and hardy greens. Maybe even some broccoli. (We are trying again, even though it got eaten last time. :( )  Some hardy greens are kale, swiss chard, spinach… really anything but lettuce. Pumpkins are harvested in fall, but they should have been planted with your summer crops. Our fall crops are kale, carrots, peas, and broccoli.

Beware of groundhogs and I’ll see you next week!
