Hey guys!

How are you? I hope you’re doing great. I really loved reading all your comments and since I picked up an interest in skin care, let’s start there.

So we know that  water is essential to survival and it’s really important as far as your beauty and well-being goes. Water gives your face a plump appearance (In other words:  youthful, pretty) and  it keeps  your skin hydrated.  We know that the facial creams women buy try to hydrate the skin from the outside in and water does the same trick just inside out. S0 make sure to drink your daily eight cups.

But water doesn’t only work its wonders there. When you drink water, it flushes all the bad stuff out, cleaning your body and improving your health in the process.  Also, hydrating your body is a necessity since approx. 80% of your body is water so your body basically just needs water to survive. Make sure you drink before you’re thirsty because once your thirsty it’s kind of  late and you’re going to need to drink more just to re-hydrate.

When you exercise or play sports, make sure you  drink tons of water before, during and after  since you lose water when you sweat.

Did you know that sometimes when you feel hungry, you can really be thirsty? Yup! It’s true. Your body just mixes up the two signals and sends you the “I’m starving!!” one. When you’re hungry, try drinking some good ole’ water before taking a snack.

If you can, drink filtered water. It doesn’t have all the ‘cleaning stuff’ that they put in tap water. It’s better than bottled water, since the bad-for-you chemicals  in the plastic leak into the water (it’s not a great idea if you’re earth-friendly, either). Invest in a good water filter. Brita’s a pretty  good company. If available, I only drink filtered water and, let me tell you, there’s a big difference in taste – filtered is sweeter. But if tap water’s the only water available – definitely drink it. It’s still H2O.

So, folks, drink your water and you’ll be on your way to better skin and a healthier life.

Bye for now!
