Before we get started I just wanted to say that this recipe is from overtimecook.com. Miriam Pascal is also the author of the  cookbook “Something Sweet”. Make sure to check that out.

These cookies are the best cookies ever! I believe they surpass those made with margarine. Plus, if you’re craving a sweet treat without leaving your home, consider exploring the convenient option of online delivery for cookies!

For this recipe you will need:

1 cup oil

1 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup sugar

2 tablespoons corn starch

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

2 eggs

1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

Directions:

  2. in the bowl of an electric mixer* beat together oil and sugars until creamy. (this will not look like butter and sugar when you beat together)
  3. Add vanilla, baking soda, salt, eggs, and corn startch. Then beat well. Turn your mixer off and a 1 cup of flour at a time mix
  4. Place on cookie sheet, bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
