First off, dear reader, I welcome you with honor, and warmly thank you for visiting this new little blog of mine.  Presented in intimate journal-entry style, I aspire through this blog to convey my personal story of return and Jewish growth with relatability, honesty, humor and warmth.  Take a walk with me on my Baalas Teshuvah journey, and allow me to empower you on your own path – to keep climbing, to rediscover the infinite depth of your heritage, and to always be true to your inner self.

The term “Baal [or feminine “Baalas”] Teshuvah,” often translated (I think poorly) as “Master of Repentance,” is truthfully more multilayered than its common understanding and frequent tossing within the Jewish vernacular.
