When we were in slavery

We just wanted to be free

And to do what we want to do

To be who we want to be

Hashem said Moshe, “It’s all up to you

You have an opportunity to save every Jew

You got stuff to do”

With a huff and puff

We said we’ve had enough

Of the rough, tough stuff

Hashem split the sea

Finally

We were free

From slavery

Once in a while, Paroh sneaks into your head

“Don’t do the mitzvah, just lie in bed”

Moshe says, “Do it, it’s what Hashem said”

Listen to the Moshe; then you will be free

From your own personal slavery

See ya next year, hand-in-hand

Running to the Holy Land
