During each Friday night there was darkness in the streets,
The only light for miles was in the Jewish homes.
It looks like Moshiach this time,
Can’t wait for the special time to shine.
Don’t mess with our glow cause we’ll get you every time.
Then the candles lit,
Brighter than ever before,
Won’t let them fade,
This candle meant for much more.
During each Friday night I could finally see,
I knew the day would come and I would go to my home country.
It looks like now’s the time
That we should stand up for the fight,
This darkness is over and I’m ready for the light.
