Oh the things that you find
When you clean out your couch!
Your balls and your dolls
An old tzedaka pouch!
50$ in change
an old baseball bat
And under it all
Your father’s shabbos hat!
A pretzel or two
More crumbs than a meal
When you clean out your couch,
You find a great deal!

Oh the things that you find
When the closet you clean!
Lots of used notebooks,
A broken tambourine!
The clothing that fits you,
The stuff that does not,
The source of the stench,
And hangers — a lot!
A drawing you made
Old books you’ve not read
When you clean out the closet
You’re losing your head!

Oh the things that you find
When you clean out the car!
Due library books
An empty pickle jar!
The keys that you lost
An old cracked CD
And a video by
Uncle Moishy!
The headband you want
A bag to return
For cleaning the car
A prize you should earn!

Oh the things that you find
When your school desk you clean!
Some abc gum
And some garbage! I mean
The notes you’d not taken
Some other weird stuff
The candy you snuck
Some old marshmallow fluff
A pencil or two
Your missing notebook
When you clean out your desk
Theres no place you don’t look!

Have a Kosher and Happy Pesach!
