After decades of sad slavery, Hashem saw the hardship.

He sent Moshe a message saying to send Hashem’s people to Me.

But despite the many warnings, Pharaoh would decree that no one ever, ever leaves.

Hashem sent plagues, plenty of them, some of which killed many, others just a painful reward.

But Pharaoh just wouldn’t move forward.

Finally he gave in, and chased them out of the land, and everyone gladly ran away, hand in hand.

So fast that the bread they had baked didn’t have time to rise.

This is what started Passover, and when we eat marror you can hear our cries.

And to remember the days they were slaves. Hardship and pain. But now, we’re headed in the right lane
