For those of you who are wondering, Shira and the rest of Shoshana’s class is saying the “daytime” Shema prayer as part of the morning prayer service, shacharis. Shoshana the night owl, however, is reciting part of the “bedtime” Shema, which is recited at night before we go to sleep. Pleasant dreams, Shoshana! :P
Fact of the Day: National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is in November, and kids can join the Young Writers Program. There is also a Camp NaNoWriMo program in April and July, so if you’re not away at real camp, writing a novel during that time might keep you busy instead! :)
PS. Do you guys want to see more facts of the day in my posts? I’ve seen other bloggers here doing it, and I’ve learned a lot from them.
Wow! And here I was thinking that I was the only one in the world who did NaNoWriMo… I’m so excited to find someone else who does it! :)

This is what happens to me almost every day! It’s not always writing, but it normally is. I think the “fact of the day” is super interesting. I learn tons of new facts by reading different posts. :)
I like your jokes, Shoshana, but when will you get back to stranded?! I can’t wait to see how it ends!
