Jewish females light Shabbat candles from when they are three years old, every Friday evening at sundown.

We can light our candles, not only on Friday, but every day of the week, just like Sarah Imenu. It does not mean we light a physical candle every night. We can light spiritually.

What does it mean to have a spiritual candle lit? It means that every single one of our actions can light up our home, or wherever we are.

When we light Shabbat candles, we are closest to G-d. We can ask for whatever we need. Our prayers will be answered.

My grandmother, my mother, and my aunt’s photograph were on the Neshek Brochure in the 1990’s. I hope to follow in their footsteps, and shine the light of Shabbat candles all around the world!
