The following is an excerpt of a Q&A session at Creative Online Club (03/20/22), inspired by the subject of art with instructor Chana Laber: The Beis Hamikdash (Holy Temple).  Girls expressed why they Wish for the Beis Hamikdash to be speedily rebuilt.

“Why do you WISH for the Bais Hamikdash to be rebuilt?”

Chana Laber (JGU Art Head, who just returned from leading a student trip to Poland, where her group helped Ukrainian refugees in need), New York:

When we see people who don’t have a home, it reminds us that the Jewish people are never really home until we have the Bais Hamikdash. That’s our real home and a home for Hashem in this world.

Rochel Leah Schechtman (Clubber), Florida:

Every night when I go to sleep, I wonder what Queen Esther and all our ancestors look like. When Moshaich comes, I look forward to seeing them and my great-grandparents [with Techiyas Hameisim – Revival of the Dead]. Whenever I have a question, I’ll always have someone to turn to. Right now, Jews are scattered all over the world; I have cousins I haven’t seen for a long time. When Moshiach comes, everyone will be in one spot, people who I haven’t seen in years will be here, and it’s gonna be fun.

Ariele Betya Dynnikov (Clubber), North Carolina:

I don’t really know exactly, but I think when Moshiach comes, everything will be different.

Channah Bella Gadish (Clubber), California:

So that there’s no more war. That way, there’s gonna be more babies.

Elisheva Resnick (Clubber), Massachusetts:

We will live a happier life, things will be much different, and I can meet people I never met (like Rochel Leah said).

Tzipporah Prottas (Staff), Connecticut:

Hashem communicated to the Prophet Isaiah, “I will bring the Jews to My holy mountain [the site of the Beis Hamikdash] and make them rejoice…for My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations.” I look forward to the special, worldwide unity in feeling our connection to Hashem. All the world will come to recognize, praise and serve Hashem in harmony. Peace will come to the world when we’re all in tune with the mission of our souls.

Bracha Schwartz (Clubber), California:

I want to see my great-grandparents and know how I am related to Sarah Imeinu! I am excited for all Jews to be together on Shabbos, that we’re gonna fly to Israel and I’ll get to meet you all in person. I am also excited for clothes to grow out of the ground so I won’t need to go shopping anymore, candy will be healthy so I don’t have to brush my teeth, and everyone’s going to have six babies at a time!

Maital Ledder (Staff), Israel:

We won’t have a Yetzer Hara or do anymore aveiros. Everyone will just be at peace, happy, with no problems in our life – and everyone wants that! Also, Techiyas Hameisim – people I miss and people from the Torah will come back, we’ll get to meet them, and it will be very special. I can’t wait for my family to be with us in Israel, and all of you! And we will have a closer relationship to Hashem!
