Readers,

It’s February, and a very snowy February, at least on the East Coast. We just got about a foot of snow dumped on us and are scheduled to get much more. But tomorrow night (as you’re reading this, last night) there is going to be ice.

Frozen rain means rain that freezes as soon as it comes into contact with something. This isn’t good for trees (and plants in general) because when they are covered in a layer of ice, it becomes too heavy and things will start to break and fall down.

Also, it’s finally close enough to spring to start planting early vegetables, like greens and peas, inside! By the time it’s warmer, they will be big enough to be planted outside.

Plant those seeds and I’ll post again next week!
