I am twelve

And my head is going crazy

I use to be more relaxed

I still sleep with my baby Pillow

And baby blanket too

I still have teddy bears all over my room

I don’t sleep with a nightlight

I think that is the only thing that has changed

And I am still doing my homework

By myself in my room all night long

I learned how to cook

How to set a table too

My bed is getting smaller

That, one day I won’t fit

My room is super girly

When you enter you know it’s a teenager’s room

It has stacks of books

And of paper too

I stay up studying

So late in the night

I wish I were in Kindergarten so I can play all day long

And I am still doing homework

By myself in my room all night long

One day I won’t be in school

I will be in the College of my dreams

I will miss all my teachers

And my friends too

I hope I get good grades

Like I did the past years

I will bring a lot of success

To my family and friends

And I am still doing homework

By myself in my room all night long
