I’m glad to be here on the YALDAH blog, finally… I’ve been wanting to post for a while, so thank you to whomever suggested this. :) Hopefully now there won’t be such big gaps in between posts and we can let you know what’s happening more often.

I’ll introduce myself for those of you who don’t know me. My name is Chavie Resnick and I live in Sharon, MA. I’m 15 and I’ve been involved with YALDAH since the second issue, and receiving it since the first. I was on the first 4 editorial boards and started full time subscription work last fall.

I’ve been busy studying for all the last minute tests that teachers give so there won’t be new material on the finals. It doesn’t leave me much time for my magazine work, but of course I fit it in and somehow still get lots of sleep.

The Shabbaton keeps me busy too. With less than a month to go, we’ve got lots to do! It’s really fun planning it and I’m looking forward to meeting everyone (and seeing people again). It’s going to be a weekend of fun and unity and brainstorming and activities and talking and walking and getting to know each other and building teamwork skills and creating friendships and writing and cooking and lots more!

I’m really excited about the YALDAH books. I’ve been helping a little with Teen Talk and it’s going to be amazing! And of course, so are the novel and the craft and recipe book. :)

Keep your eyes on your mailboxes for the summer issue! If your subscription ended, renew today- you don’t want to miss great articles, stories, quizzes and recipes!

Have a great Shabbos!
