Did you ever stop and think of Hashem as a camera, or voice recorder, or even 2 year old sister?

Well, try to think of this:

  • Hashem is watching you, He is taking pictures of everything that you do, GOOD and BAD.

  • Hashem records you. He knows what you say, in the ears or your friend, or out loud when you speak rudely to your teacher.

  • He listens very carefully and when you may or may not remember what you said, He might. Just like, Lehavdil, a younger sibling. They listen very carefully to what you say and will repeat it when you least want it and expect it!

This teaches us a lesson, think before you act and before you speak, weather this applies to your friend, Hashem, or even a stranger. Here is a story that will illustrate this idea to you.

POSITIVE Example:

Shuli was walking down the street humming her favorite song to herself. She was on her way to her friend’s house. She goes down the street, turns left, and is just a few footsteps away from her friend’s house. She hears a noise and turns around. It is the mailman delivering the mail. Instead of going straight into her friend’s house, she gets the mail, smiles and says, “Hello, how are you?”, to the mailman and then, turns and goes into her friend Hadassah’s house.

Shuli did not know this but the mailman was impacted by her “Hello, how are you?” He went and he had a better day because Shuli had opened her eyes and saw a way to help her friend by bring in the mail, and along the way she smiled at the mailman and impacted his entire day!

Even deeper, the mailman said “Hello, how are you?” to the next person he saw and impacted that person’s day.

Imagine if Chas Veshalom (G-D Forbid) Shuli did not get the mail and said hello. She could have just ignored a simple mailman. (The mailman is simple in her eyes, smiling and talking to him made him feel not quite ‘simple’ but important)

Shuli doing something tiny really impacted this mailman’s day. THINK BEFORE YOU ACT SO, CHAS VESHALOM, YOU DO NOT COME TO SO SOMETHING THAT IT NOT POSITIVE AND WILL IMPACT ANOTHER PERSON’S DAY IN THE BAD WAY!

Shuli didn’t realize what she did, but I am sure Hashem did. Hashem is a voice recorder and camera. He records and takes pictures of all of the good and bad things that you do. Make sure that you are only recorded doing good and positive impacting actions.
