Hi Everyone :)

I am so sorry that it has been so long since I last posted… You know, summer camp, vacation… But now that I am actually sitting down to write, let’s talk about something that everyone, specifically girls, can do for Israel. Don’t do it for me, for yourself, do it for Israel and the brave people there!

Most of you know about the many terrible things that are going on in Israel at the moment. There are daily rockets being sent from Gaza into Israel and many, many soldiers working their best to protect everyone.

Well, we are hundreds of thousands of miles away from them and is there something that you, me, anyone can actually do to help the brave soldiers and families?

Of course! There are many many things you can do! For example, put up a Mezuza, light Shabbat Candles, or being extra nice to a friend are just a few, but since this is a FASHION blog, lets talk about how we can make the way we dress impact the world around us, specifically Israel.

Any good deed, Mitzvah you do brings us closer to our finish line… Which is as some of you may have guessed, Moshiach- the Messiah. When you dress in a modest way, covering your knees, elbows, collar bone, wearing knee socks etc. it gets the whole world closer to Moshiach.

Don’t do it for me, for yourself, do it for Israel and the brave people there!

On behalf on everyone in Israel and the entire Jewish world, it would be kind and special if you take upon yourself to be more careful in the way you dress.

Soo, wouldn’t it be more fun to do this if you are part of a contest?

Everyone who would like to participate in this contest needs to choose one area of dress that they think they can work on. You know yourself and you know when there is an area you can improve in. These are the steps, you can do it! Its pretty simple.

1. Choose one area of modesty that you can work on. And don’t forget- being modest doesn’t mean not fashionable. Don’t do it for me, for yourself, do it for Israel and the brave people there!

2. Email what you are going to work on with your name and email address to fortunee@yaldahmagazine.com

psst… you can send as many as you want; there is no limit

3. When you send it, you will immediately get entered into a raffle to get interviewed in a future post.

Raffle will be drawn on August 10th. Please send in your resolutions as soon as possible, this is one thing you do not want to miss on.

Don’t do it for me, for yourself, do it for Israel and the brave people there!
