What to do on a boring Sunday? bake, bake, bake, bake, BAKE!!!!! That’s right so while I’m baking might try something yummy!!!! CINAMON BUNS!! Love, Love, LOVE Cinnamon buns! How to do it? Simple!

Ingredients:

Dough:

1/2 cup sugar

2 packages of dry yeast

1 1/2 tsp. salt

6 1/2 to 7 cups of flour

1 1/4 cups of apple juice

1 cup margarine

3 eggs

1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

Combine in mixing bowl sugar, yeast, salt and 2 cups of flour. Combine margarine and apple juice and place in the microwave for 2 minutes. Gradually add the warm liquid to dry ingredients beating with electric mixer at low. Increase speed to medium and beat for 2 minutes. Add eggs vanilla and 2 1/2 cups of flour. Beat for 2 more minutes. By hand stir in enough flour to make dough stiff. Knead dough for 8-10 minutes adding more flour if needed. Place dough in well oiled bowl and turn dough over. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour. After an hour punch down and turn over and let rest for 15 minutes.

Filling:

1 cup of firmly packed brown sugar

1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

1/4 cup margarine

Combine brown sugar and cinnamon. Melt margarine for 1 minute.

Cinnamon buns:

Roll half of dough into 18*12 inch rectangle. Brush with melted margarine and sprinkle half of the filling. Starting with 18 inch side roll dough jelly roll fashion; pinch seam to close. Cut the roll should be 18 pieces. Repeat for 2nd batch. Cover and let rise for 40 minutes. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Bake for 20 minutes.

Glaze:

1 cup confectioners sugar

4 tsp. of water

While buns are baking, combine sugar and water to make glaze. While buns are warm brush with glaze.
