Hey’all!
I know! I know! Another chocolate recipe…it’s so hard for me to stay away! And hey,
isn’t it good to start off your week with chocolate? This one is really for home
occasions because it’s hard to pack for schools snacks. This recipe is curtesy of my
mother’s recipe file folder (it comes in handy sometimes).
For starters, you will need a bowl, whisk (preferably electric), and a sauce pan.
Ingredients!
- 6 egg whites
- 6 tablespoons of sugar
- 10 ounces of bittersweet chocolate
- 4 tablespoons of margarine
Directions!
- Whip egg whites until stiff and gradually add sugar ( not all at once because the white can fall).
- Put the chocolate and margarine into saucepan to melt.
- Fold the chocolate mixture into the white. Be careful! If you mix it too much the whites might fall.
- Put it into the refrigerator for a minimum of an hour and a half.
If you ever have something to say about how a recipe came out, feel free to share !
Have fun with this chocolate start to your week and Bon Appetit!
Looks YUM!
Sounds delicious! It’s funny. My friend and I were discussing chocolate mousse recently. Maybe I’ll try it…
tonni, if you do, would you tell me whether its better for summer or for shabbos afternoon
can someone please tell me how i am supposed to start my blog? i’m supposed to but i really don’t know how!
HI!
my name is malka bettoun and i am doing the cooking blog!
the way i started is when you sign in go to the home and on the top of the page is a black bar. over there it says things like comments and add posts. when you click on the add posts the rest is pretty simple. you just write wutever you are writing and when you are done, there is a button on the bottom that says submit for review and you click that. then you wait for the editor of the blog to post up your work!
once you get use to it the rest is pretty self explanatory!
nice to meet you and enjoy blogging!
(make sure to check out the cooking blog! its awesome!)
Thanks for the recipe. It’s a shame I can’t use it, ’cause my family doesn’t eat raw eggs… It’s so upsetting…
