Does your family have a ton of old magazines laying around your house? Well, I know that’s the case in my house. Today, I had loads of fun with my 6 year old sister! An idea popped in my head that I should do collages with my sister. All you need to do this project is:
- Old magazines
- Elmers glue or gluesticks
- construction paper (optional)
- scissors
Since my sister likes animals, we made collage animals. This is an extremley fun and easy project to do with younger siblings! If you have very young siblings, they will need more help do this project succsecfully. However, my sister is six years old and did not need a lot of help.

Making this project is a fun way to spend time with younger siblings.
You can also make a dream house by cutting out furniture and household items
Nice! I like the idea of using newspaper pages – it gives the collages a nice look, and from a distance, it gives it a nice texture. :)
