I am absolutely thrilled to be the Parsha blogger for the new YALDAH Magazine website! I am so excited to share Parsha insights with you. But first, let me tell you a little about myself.
My name is Tamar Lilienthal. I live in Florida, and I’m twelve years old. I love to sing, dance, act, create picture and word puzzles, and WRITE!
Judaism has always interested me. Since the day I was born, my parents have taught me to love Judaism, Hashem (G-d), and the Torah. I’m definitely not the type of kid who groans when the teacher says, “Time for Chumash (Torah) class!” I am often enthralled by all the amazing lessons there are to learn from our Biblical ancestors. I really enjoy following all of the Jewish traditions. My favorite mitzvah is lighting Shabbat candles every Friday night. I really feel like I am connected to Hashem.
I hope you will enjoy my blog. Every week, my parents tell me I need a Dvar Torah for Shabbat. Do you ever need a Dvar Torah? Here’s the perfect place to get it! I will be posting a Dvar Torah every week. And don’t worry—they won’t be geared towards adults. They’ll be interesting and fun for us, Jewish girls!
Stay tuned… my first Parsha post will be up soon!

Are you the one who wrote one of the ‘to be continued’ story parts?
