Poem: The Ocean is my Mother

I say feed me

She serves me sand in a seashell

I say heal me

She pours fresh water on my cut

I say frighten me

Her body starts moving like a tornado

I say hold me

She holds me with her blue hands

I say love me

She gives me a tight hug that makes me all wet

I say make me beautiful

She gives me light from the sun and a mirror made out of water

I say sing to me

She chants her melodic song

The ocean is my mother

El mar es mi madre

The ocean is my brave mother
