Mazel tov, mazel tov, there are new baby twins, a girl and a boy
That’s sure to bring the family much nachas and joy
But there is only one problem, what is the name?
Is it Shmully or Suchy or Mendel or Chaim?
The parents don’t know what to do
Until Raily pops up and says “I have an idea”
Don’t you have a father or you have a brother
Or you have a sister and you have a mother
That have the same name, I think it is simcha
Maybe that’s what we can name one of the babies
It’s a very cute name and even rhymes with daisies
Mommy and Tatty now have a name for the girl
The baby that’s as beautiful as a pearl
But they still have a problem, what do we name the boy?
He’s also very cute and sure to give us joy
Then Raily pops up and she says again
Don’t you have a father or you have a brother
Or you have a sister and you have a mother
I think your father’s name was Sholomke, right
Now we have a name for both babies and no one has to fight
At the kiddush what were the names
They were sholomke and simcha
For the babies who looked the same
After that in the family there was so much joy
From when they didn’t have to fight about the names for the girl and the boy
