Shabbos, Shabbos is the best,
It’s the day Hashem did rest.
The world was finished on that day,
We should treat it a special way.

Those who treat it with respect,
Hashem will surely pay you back.
You’ll be protected, that I know,
Shabbos Kodesh, I love you so.

I lit the candles which burned so bright,
They still kept burning all through the night.
Just as candles shine so bright,
The Torah will also hold us tight.
