The Ultimate Five-Minute Omelet!
This is a super easy omelet recipe! It doesn’t require any fancy ingredients or utensils. Dress it up, dress it down, or keep it how it is!
Ingredients:
Two Eggs
Pinch off Salt
Pinch of Ground Black Pepper
Milk*
Utensils:
Clear Glass
Microwave
Microwave-Safe Bowl
Fork
Instructions:
1. WASH YOUR HANDS.
2. Crack the eggs and pour them into the cup. Check for blood spots.
3. Once you’ve made sure that there are no blood spots, pour the eggs into your bowl.
4. Add milk.
5. Add salt and black pepper.
6. Mix with a fork.
7. Microwave for one minute.
And… YOU’RE DONE!!!
Dress It Down:
Use only eggs, no milk, pepper, or salt.
Dress It Up:
Slice a tomato. Arrange the pieces neatly in a bowl. Place omelet on top.
REMEMBER TO WASH YOUR HANDS WHEN YOU’RE FINSIHED! CLEAN UP!
*You can also use soy milk or any other non-dairy variation if you’re planning on eating them with meat.
I love omelet! I usually add some cheese to mine, and some veggies are always a nice touch to add some color and flavor. :)

You see, I live in Indianapolis where we can’t get a lot of Kosher stuff. I mean, we can get sliced cheese, chicken, etc., but we can’t really get yogurt, cream…at least not Chalav Yisroel. We do order meat, yogurt, etc. from a website which delivers that stuff every four months… So you can see why its really not worth it to have a milchig microwave or oven… we just have a toaster oven that we used for pizza, grilled cheese, etc.
