Hi everyone,
Yesterday I wanted to make cookies (I really love making cookies, of all kinds) so I looked at The YALDAH Year and chose the recipe for Snowball Cookies. They turned out great! Here are some pictures:
This photo is of me rolling the cookies in powdered sugar before they go in the oven

Finished cookies!
I had so much fun making the Snowball Cookies and they really did look like snowballs when I was rolling them in powdered sugar. Have you made anything from The YALDAH Year? How did it turn out? Be sure to comment and let me know!
Good Shabbos,
Emily
With so much work now I haven't really been able to make anything from the book yet :( However since BY convention is hosted in my hometown this year we all have to decorate our classrooms. Out theme is Mitzvos we took on for ourselves (chanukah and purim). So I am making a HUGE read scene about chanukah in america and chanukah in china. I decided to use the mirrored menorah from the yaldah year as our menaorah and we will get red and black beads. I am excited and my class loved the book! One of myfriends borrowed it and I think made the chocolate chip cookies for shabbat.
i made strawberry splash, it was gone in 2 seconds!
