Here’s a real easy cheesecake recipe:
Graham cracker crust:
10 whole graham crackers
6 tablespoons butter, melted
Cheesecake filling:
1 cup sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarch
32 ounces of cream cheese, softened
1 extra large egg
1/2 cup of heavy cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the crust: process graham crackers in a food processor until finely crushed. Mix graham crackers and butter in a bowl. Press over bottom of greased 10-inch springform pan.
For the filling: preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Mix sugar and cornstarch together. Beat cream cheese with electric mixer till smooth. Add sugar mixture and mix until light. Mix in egg. Add cream and vanilla gradually and mix until smooth. Pour filling into the prepared crust. Cover the outside of the pan with foil tightly. Place in a larger baking pan filled halfway with water. Bake for 35-45 minutes or until the top is golden. Cool on a wire rack; chill for three hours to overnight. Top as desired.
This recipe tastes really good. We make it every Shavous. The picture was taken before it was decorated. This recipe is from The Kosher Pallet 2.
Enjoy!!!!!!!
