Hey there! How was your shavous? Isn’t it wonderful to go from one holy day to another? Of course it also means shabbos desserts! Here’s an easy and fun cake pop recipe.
Here’s what you need:
A basic cake recipe (see below)
A cake-pop pan or machine (like baby cakes)
Foam block
Chocolate, melted
Sprinkles
Cake recipe:
1 1/2 cups sugar
3/4 oil
5-6 eggs
2 cups of flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 cup of orange juice
Hera’s how you do it: Crack all the eggs and check for blood. Beat on high. Mix sugar and oil with the eggs. Mix flour and baking powder together. pour orange juice then flour mix, orange juice then flour mix…. repeat till orange juice and flour mix is done.
Cake Pop part:
Put in cake pop pan or griddle and follow manufacturer’s instructions. Take the cake pops and cote them in melted chocolate. Sprinkle with sprinkles and display them on foam block.
