This scrumptious honey cake recipe was sent to me by reader, Tamar Waldman. Thank you so much for sharing this, Tamar! I am looking forward to baking this cake!
Ingredients:
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup honey
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tsp. baking soda (mix into coffee)
- 1 cup warm coffee
- ½ cup oil
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 ¾ cups flour
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
Combine ingredients in a bowl, then pour mixture into a loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour at 325 degrees.
Tip: Stick a toothpick into the cake when finished baking. If the toothpick comes out dry, the cake is finished baking.

Oh my goodness, this recipe is amazing! I had to use a little less honey than the recipe called for, and I used a lemon-flavored honey, but otherwise, I followed the recipe and it was super easy! Thank you, Tamar and Sarah, for sharing this with us. :) I’ll let you know how it tastes after the chag….
Update: It was a fantastic cake!!! We loved it. :)
