Hi Everyone!
Sorry for not posting last week. Between my ISP (so much for thinking I was good at Hebrew!), homework and various other chores, not to mention recovering from the latest cold, I just didn’t have the time or the mental capacity.
This is where you’re supposed to say “Don’t worry, Mimi! We all have weeks like that!” If you don’t…
Recently I’ve been noticing less and less people reading and commenting on my posts. Don’t get me wrong, this isn’t an ego thing. I’m not writing for me, I’m writing for you! So if I’m not getting good feedback, that means I’m not doing my job properly.
So, honestly, what do you think? What do you want me to, erm, muse upon? What should I change? Or are you all also living in the land of school and just don’t have time to read?
Please don’t think that I’m asking for comments. I am, but in a sort of round about way. I’m asking that you help me find post formats and topics that generate comments.
So everyone wrack their brains, and get thinking! Tell me what your favorite posts were, and why. Next week, I’ll do my best to follow your suggestions.
See you then,
Miriam
I love your posts, don’t worry. :) And I read them too! I’ll try not to be so shy when it comes to giving feedback!
Could you do a blog post about how to improve a strained friendship and why one should or shouldn’t break it off?
I always read your posts! I just sometimes don’t have time to comment on them, but I find them very interesting and helpful! I like how they are very frank about the way things are, and what we can do to change them! Maybe you can write about how to be more comfortable confiding in people.
I love what you right! You seriously put thought into it! Can you do something on loving a girl who you don’t really like and HOW to do it!
Thanks!
Mussia
These are all topics that I’ve been thinking about at some point, but for no particular reason have never posted on. Thanks for your ideas and I’m sure you’ll be seeing them here in the next few weeks.
HHHHHHMMMMM…..I read your posts every time they are there! Maybe you could tell us something about the Ontario condition and what it’s like living there. I’m curious to see if our 24 or so inches of snow we just got is really that bad. :)
Snow?
What is this snow of which you speak? You mean that soft white carpet, a measly 5 inches? That’s not snow!
Yeah, we do get 24 inches sometimes, but not much this past year. Global climate change and all. My first winter here (almost ten years ago) we were snowed in until Purim, but it’s changed. My three year old sister was born two weeks after Pesach, and it was still snowing then. Other than that? Weather is weather- not much to talk about. Where are you giving your weather report from?
I love your posts! I was so busy these past few weeks with my school production, tests and on top of that, i forgot my password! I’m back now though! We get tons of snow, here in Montreal! The second the tractors come around to clean the streets, the snow starts coming down again!
i wish it wud snow here……. at least once :) but ur posts are rlly good and inspiring
Your posts are really thought provoking. (I dont know if I used that right..but it just popped into my head :D) I’d love a posts about maybe.. handling stress. (just popped into my head..cuz i may or may not be pushing my math hw off) :)
We got tons of snow here this past week probably like 15″ in total..not at the same time.. its all still here but since its getting warmer its all melting or turning into ice.
i think that right now in toronto there is way more than 5 inches of snow. i’m not sure of exact number but probably more around 10, or at least on my lawn around that
Hi miriam,
I would feel the same way…
You just taught me a lesson that you should always express your feelings only in a good…
I always read your posts I am on yaldah at least once a day… I just sometime don’t have anything to comment about…
I wish I had snow! I live in Texas!
Also I think you should do articles on camp experiences and friendship!
Bayla
I was wondering is you can take pictures of were you live. Like the snow…
It doesn’t snow in California La!
srry when i said 10 inches or a foot, it was more like that a week and a half ago, i just looked outside yesterday and realized that most of the snow melted
Talya M.- I totally agree with your whole stress thing. I have to write a story, do some research for science, and practice my viola for this really competitive contest coming up, but for some reason (maybe I am reading Harry Potter and it is really good!!!! :) ) I don’t want to do any of it!!!!!!!!!!! Well….I don’t know. I love yur posts as is, and as I am reading through the comments, I can’t think of anything else!!!!!
:) ya..somehow reading yaldah posts takes priority over my hw.. (maybe cuz its more interesting) but dont worry I got my math homework done and got it a 92% on the test. :)
Of course I always read and love your posts! I just don’t comment that much. But I really will like whatever you write about, so… :) :)
miriam maryasha ill gladly switch with you, it once snowed here on may 17th!!!
