Hey everyone!
So basically this past Tuesday was the 3rd of Tammuz – the anniversary of the Lubavitcher Rebbe’s passing. I wasn’t going to the Rebbe’s burial site, so I decided I would watch some Rebbe videos. Anyways, I found this one and was totally blown away.
The 1991 “Miss Israel” winner visits the Rebbe: “Torah says: ‘Beauty is false.’ But the verse continues: ‘A G-d-fearing woman is to be praised.’ The commentaries explain that if a woman is G-d-fearing, she uses her beauty for beautiful endeavors in Torah and Mitzvos. Good tidings, and please relay this message to your friends.”

wow can u post the link plz?
If it’s on Youtube, there are ways to embed the video using HTML…. There are a *lot* of Rebbe videos out there. :D
You’re absolutely right – External beauty is just one kind of beauty, and from some perspectives, it isn’t even real beauty. We can take it to a whole new dimension by using your beauty to do mitzvos and act in praiseworthy ways. And that beauty always shows through, no matter what we look like!
