Q. What is the JGU Shabbat Women’s Retreat?
We are planning a weekend of unity, empowerment, and inspiration. We will unify and inspire each other to empower and support our future Jewish mothers worldwide. We celebrate women and girls who are spreading light. The theme of the weekend will be "WEAVING THE TAPESTRY" and is also the title of our upcoming 3rd JGU Press Book and is based on the Aishes Chayil - Woman of Valor Song. Throughout the weekend we will have interactive workshops and CELEBRATORY KUMZITZ [singalong] with incredible women. We are envisioning this amazing group of women singing together around the Shabbos table raising our Voices in Harmony. This will not be your typical 'gala,' or Shabbaton but rather an empowering, engaging and unforgettable experience.
