This week I’d like to tell you guys about some cool places that I’ve been to in Israel, so here goes:
The Kosel is a beautiful place that I have been to many times, and each time I go I can feel the closeness to Hashem. Each time I go there, even though I’ve been there a lot, I’m always excited to go again.
The cave of Rav Shimon bar Yochai
We were travelling one day, and we found the cave where Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai and his son hid. We actually saw the carob tree right over it!
The Grottos are a natural site where the water from the Mediteranean Sea cut into the mountains at Rosh HaNikra, and made a tunnel shape. It’s really cool to see, and sometimes when you are looking down, you can even get splashed by the waves.
The Tunisian Shul in Acco
The Tunisian Shul is a very pretty shul in Acco that is covered in art, and I mean COVERED. It has mosaics all over the walls, and it’s very beautiful. It also has a women’s section that is a balcony over the men’s section. We love visiting the shul.
P.S. Have an awesome summer and don’t forget to comment below to tell me about your summer!
