Hi guys!
Long time no write!
How were the chagim? We stayed home, and had our succah on the roof ☺.
When we went back to school, there was an announcement about the new after school programs!
I was thinking about what to sign up for…..
I’ll give you a few hints..
- it’s an instrument…
- it has a ‘pick’…
- it’s usually wooden ( but mine was painted blue)
- it could be electric, acoustic, or classical
now, guess before you peek…

Great job for anyone who got it and didn’t peek.

Hi Tehila! That’s so cool! 😀 In Israel, they call these programs “chugim”, right?
I just got a guitar too, and it has a case somewhat like that. (Actually, it was shipped to me in a HUGE cardboard box that looked a bit like a coffin…) I have three picks, but because my guitar’s painted black, (which is great for denting, as I’ve discovered the hard way that you shouldn’t play while sitting on a chair with armrests) I see the white pick in the reflection and get soooo confused. 🙂 Good luck with your guitar playing!
PS. I hope everything’s going well for you and your family in Israel right now, with Operation Pillar of Defense and such.
Right now nothings hitting too close, but please daven for am yisroel!!!!!!!!
Where are they bombing?
I will!
Down south, like in Ashdod and Ashkelon.
BTW, for everyone to know, I’m still the same person but I changed my pic… 🙂
It’s a nice picture! 🙂 I finally set up an account with Yaldah, so I was able to pick my avatar. Sure beats a faceless brunette in pink… 😀
Thanx u r so sweet 🙂
My other pic was from a year ago! B-)
hi! i play guitar too! it is sooooo hard the first few weeks. i also play piano and drums. those are a lot easier. i guess i have an easier time, because everyone in my family plays a musical instrument, whether its flute, recorder, piano, drums, or guitar. 🙂 it just comes naturally.
My family is also musical. I play piano and guitar. I taught myself both (with some of my sister’s help. I don’t think anyone in my family had lessons, besides for maybe my older siblings. we go by the teach-yourself-with-the-help-of-books-if-need method. saves a lot of money!).
Guitar is hard at first, until your fingers get used to it.
Hey! I have been playing drums for ever a year now. Actully a few day ago i had my first performance!! 🙂 I played for our public menorah lighting and lemme tell you HOW MUCH people where there! Basicly I played drums in front of 2 bajiilion people and then I played a drum solo it was a blast! Espechiily cuz I got to play GLITTER PINK drums!! 😛
Where in Isreal do you live?
Awesome! I’m sure you did a great job! ^_^
our drums are GLITTERY RED!!!! s/o in my class thinks that if a girl plays drums, then she could go OTD. i think thats ridiculous. i love to play the drums, and i am really good at it. i really want to perform; but i dont take lessons. sometimes my sister or my fther will play guitar and i’ll drum along with them, and sometimes they will both play and i’ll drum and it will sound very good. sometimes i will play in the piano, and my sister or my father (and sometimes my brother when he is home) will drum. we even have a music room in our house, with gutars and drums and keyboard and AMPs and stuff. its really cool! :(|)
